What it's all about

I'm a 19 years old student from Norway. Got interested in poker about half a year ago watching EPT on TV and playing with play money online. I watched Gus Hansen win tree WPT titles and that made me understand that there is more to poker then just luck.

Playing live poker in Norway is illegal, but playing online is legal as long as you pay taxes for winnings over 10000 kr, that’s about 1500 dollars. Norway got a lot of young new poker players, and some politicians say they will make it legal. The main reason it’s illegal is because they believe poker is about being lucky. I really hope they will make it legal in the future.

So here is what this blog is all about. I won 1,3 dollar in a free roll on pokerstars, and then I got 5 dollars from my mate. Now I will try to make my way. I will try to earn more money and see how far I can get.

I have read a lot of books for beginners, the best of them all “Harrington on Hold’em Expert Strategy for No-Limit Yournaments”.
